Refund policy

Thank you for choosing The Networking Nerds for your networking needs. We understand that sometimes returns are necessary. Please review our return and refund policy below:


Returns and Refunds

  • Returns accepted for 30 days on license-only orders
  • Processed within 5 business days
  • Free return shipping
  • No restocking fee

Important: Effective January 30, 2022, all new Cisco and Meraki orders submitted for hardware, and any attached software, will be non-cancellable and cannot be modified starting 45 days prior to the current estimated ship date. Meraki license-only orders are not impacted by this policy. Non-cancellable orders are not eligible for RMA credit and are not eligible for an RMA exception.

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
  • It must be returned in its original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will send you an email notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or the original method of payment within a specified number of days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund yet, please follow these steps:

  1. Check your bank account to ensure the refund has not been posted.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time for the refund to be officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank, as there is often a processing time before a refund is posted.
